About Drew

I believe in the beauty of patience. Every dot I place with pen and ink is a reminder that difficult things can be done and that when small details come together, they create something far greater than the sum of their parts.

I discovered stippling while studying pharmacy, of all things. In my first year, I found myself using illustration as a way to  make meaning of the complexity around me. Eventually, I made the bold choice to leave that path and pursue art fully — enrolling first at Anderson University and then transferring to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned my B.F.A. in Illustration. It wasn’t the easy choice, but it was the right one.

Stippling, building form and value with thousands of tiny dots, has become my signature medium. I’m drawn to it because it demands both technical precision and patience and because it creates a look that feels timeless in an increasingly digital world. My work isn’t just about images; it’s about the discipline, beauty, and quiet awe that comes from seeing what persistence can create.

Today, I live and work in North Carolina, creating artwork that I hope feels both refined and accessible. My pieces are made to spark wonder in collectors and casual art lovers alike — people who, like me, appreciate the beauty of detail and the satisfaction of things that take time.
